At the time I thought it was the wrong decision. I didn't think Yiadom would step in and be as good as he has been for us.

Williams would've been a good squad player to have, but him leaving afforded Bree more game time, which in turned got him his big move.

On what basis would you rather have Fryers (poor so far) or Cavare (barely played)?

Fryers is an absolute liability defensively. I think we could have worked on ten attacking side of williams game.

Modern day full backs Jim. How often when someone asks what such and such a full back is like, the answer is "he's good going forward....."

In contrast to others I don't think Fryers has been poor so far. And based on the two games I have seen Cavare play (one being the pre-season game for huddersfield) I think he looks very solid defensively, extremely pacey and also offers a threat going forward.

I would argue it's easier to work on someone's defensive game than it is their attacking game. I also don't think Fryers has been a liability.

I like Cavare from my limited sightings thus far. Fryers seems very poor in our half to me. Easily moved out of position, relies on speed rather than positional sense. Weak tackler.

MK Dons have two George Williamses under contract. That's not confusing at all!

Only one played for us before though.

Agree there are areas he could improve on defensively but don't think he's been as bad as many have made out in my opinion. Maybe I'll take a closer look at him on Saturday and see what I'm missing.

That could be a summation of one of the most capped leftbacks in England football history ! Ashley Cole !!

Couldn`t tackle a hot dinner !, but quick !! never a full back, should have been a midfielder.
Obviously just my opinion. he has made millions out of the fact no other English fullback was any good either !

For the sums involved, 1200 per week I believe, I would have kept him around.

Always had Ronaldo in his pocket whenever he played against him.
