I think he's a decent passer, good on the ball and maybe will be better when surrounded by better players. I did knock Roberts last year for his constant punts long but looking at Lindsay doing the same it may be that that's what they've been instructed to do. If so, why?

Theres been a lot of long balls gone out for throws when ive seen him go long and theyve been followed by groans from supporters. Short games been oreyt but its least you expect from a championship CB.

Add to that Pearson when he's fit. Whilst I don't like him at full back, his goal record is quite remarkable for a defender.

Surely we need to give Jackson the "5" shirt ASAP. Marketing possibilities.

Not sure about 3 at the back for reasons discussed above re our wing-backs cramping Isgrove and Hammill, but from what I've seen of Pinnock (decent touch, pace, reading of game, distribution, goal threat etc), just wondering if Hecky might look to use him in defensive mid on occasion with Lindsay and Jackson behind?

We've had some very good times at Oakwell when we played 3-5-2 and wing backs. I'd like to see us give it a go.
