Research suggests he went on loan to boreham wood and got injured in pre-season and needed surgery on knee therefore missing pretty much the full season.

His he back at Barnsley doing his rehab then. I would presume so if he’s still a Barnsley player

Have you heard the rumours linking us with Danny Newton at Stevenage. I’m led to believe they only signed him in the summer from none league

    Small !!
Think you’ll find Stairfoot stretches further than you think and is larger in size than most places.
It used to almost stretch to Aldham Bridge at one time and down to Dearne river on grange lane and up to Whitecross other way . Not small at all

Black Bull, was my local for more years than a care to admit, really miss it. Curly Burton’s great chippy, decent bloke, shame he was Tory

I was a Black Bull regular too but came to like it less and less after poor old Trev was no longer with us.
Terrible shame to see it closed but no idea what it's future holds.
Guess it's listed so can't be demolished, but can't also see it ever reopening.

You’re talking about the estate behind the Central club adjoining Farm road fields. I used to argue it was Kendray but I’ve been assured boundary lines are indeed Stairfoot. Interestingly the cemetery there is called Ardsley Cemetery.

Was a character was Trev, Seen Landlords/ Managers come and go over the years. I think it’s only partially listed so wouldn’t be surprised if it gets demolished. There’s a stone sign above the door 1777 If memory serves me right. One ex Landlady was convinced it was haunted by Dick Turpin or someone of that ilk.

Nothing in this one chaps. He's certainly been scouted by us at some point but it won't happen at the moment. Could happen towards the end of the window when we've completed most of our business but it's a no go at the minute.
