I’ve had my doubts about Gardner, but he was terrific today

Absolutely quality, that center back partnership is turning into a really formidable one.

Thought it was a good showing by the full backs too, Cavare in particular. Looks good going forward.

    Historically, with comments & predictions.
He is the one who needed the break.
Everyone tipped him for the top before his injuries.
    A classic from the spreadsheet
Before anyone jumps on me, I think the spreadsheet is a great approach, but it should run in conjunction with knowledge!
I wonder if the spreadsheet is involved at OSC and if so did it throw up Balotelli & Sneidjer ???

I think we ought to test Villas resolve and see if we can tempt them to accept a bid
for Gardner. The fans don't rate him but Bruce does. I wonder if they would baulk
at a realistic offer for him.?

Gardner seems to be getting better with every game. I’m guessing he’s getting more and more match fit and fitting in better within the team.

Broke up play well today with his feet and his head.

I doubt it would happen but I wouldn’t be against us singing him on a permanent deal.

If he filled the Williams void & can produce consistently then why not.
    Far from past it!

I thought we looked better without Williams.

Yours is only one opinion and we felt we were doomed without Williams.
Maybe Gardner is the answer and we don't need Williams after all.
How nice to be able to say, we will not develop your player any more.
Get Gardner and he fulfills th role?

This Knasmuller, is he defensive or attack minded?

Also, Lindsay will be the next big money player that we sell. Looks far better than what Marc Roberts looked like when he first came to us.

I think he’s better defensively than Mawson and looks far more solid but Alfie is great on the ball and those type of players always catch the eye a bit mores thus increasing the transfer value.

No doubt in my mind that Lindsay will play Premier League in his career though. How he doesn’t get in the Scotland squad is beyond me.
