We all know this is a position that we are really short in at the moment since Barnes was recalled and Hedges is injured. Izzy has looked good when he has played but seems to be always picking up injuries. Hammill works so hard as he did again at the weekend but is just lacking that bit of quality in the final third.

I really would like to see at least 2 in during the rest of this window, and they are needed soon as possible with at least 1 before this weekend.

Anyone know of any wingers that we have been linked with or anything that is imminent?

I have seen that we were linked to Adelekun from Scunny who would be a good option from what I have seen of him but other than that not really seen any links.

A name I would suggest would be Jordan Graham of Wolves. Not likely to start for them ahead of the options they have (Jota, Caveliero and Costa) and was on loan at Fulham first half of season but was recalled yesterday. Unlikely to be able to buy him as I am sure they rate him massively and although I am not a big fan of loan deals when they can be avoided, this one could benefit us massively. Maybe Chien Lee asked for him to be recalled at the weekend when the two owners were watching the game (Unlikely but maybe).

Watched the u23's stream yesterday and Berkovit stood out for me. Always looking to attack his man, decent pace no tricks or step overs just direct

Mottley-Henry ready for a place on the bench maybe? But agree we definitely need to sign someone as well as we're extremely limited in numbers at the moment across midfield. The lad from scunny aside I can't think of many other options at the moment though. Mahoney on loan from Bournemouth maybe?

Mahoney would be a good call, saw something on twitter recently about Kaikai from Palace who could be a good option too, think he is out of contract too in summer so possible permanent deal could be done.

Yes I agree with that, kektyke. Berkowitz also worked back to help his defence in the short time I watched the live stream.

Don't know much about KaiKai, but wasn't he mentioned on here this weekend? Think a couple said he was due to sign. From stats alone he looks a good prospect.

Cheers, guessing that means nothing imminent then.

Can't say I know anything about him at all to be honest but must be better than Potts on the wing. Don't mind Potts unlike some on here but he's bad on the wing.

I have seen him mentioned on here before. I know he did really well at Shrewsbury and he was then at Brentford last season and did ok.

Obviously coaches are better placed to judge, but Im always a bit sdisappointed these younger lads arent given a chance and a challenge. It's all well and good keeping them in the reserves/U23's, but sometimes the step up can be just what some players need. A few late runs as a sub might do them no harm.

Can we remember that amir's 17 year old and might have recently turned that age.

He's been constantly coached from the sideline. Notice how he played coach side both half a yesterday. He played against young ox in the second half who's 2 or 3 years older than him.

Let's just remember that before people start pushing him into first team.

Pre season might be a good time to get him involved then drop him back down again when the season starts.

Would be good to see Mottley-Henry given a chance in the 1st team squad like Brown has recently; not sure he's full fit is the only problem. He might be by the weekend but we'll have to see

When’s Hedges fit? Thought this was going to be his breakthrough season. He looked very good, albeit lightweight, before this injury.

With Moore on board I reckon we might see Thiam out wider, especially if we're a bit thin.

I personally think Thiam would be better as a winger. Can't see him being a regular scorer as a striker

Well in the current side Hammill. As much as Hammill has been amazing for the side over the years and I think he's vital to have around the club I don't think he is good enough to play week in week out at this level anymore

I must watch a different game to some because I can`t see where anyone could imagine Thiam contributing in the same way that Adam did on Saturday - in my opinion he`s not fit to lace Hammill`s boots.
