    Thought his contract is up in the summer so no point villa putting him in the window?

    The better he plays then the more clubs who will come in for him in the summer and offer him better wages. If we want him we should look to sign him now like villa did with Bree and Hourihane. Yes he’s available for free then but you’ll potentially be in competition and wages will go up.

    He’ll probably stay with us until summer then go back to Forest or similar.

    Ah ok. In which case you’re right. Villa will let him play well for us hopefully and then sell him to highest bidder in summer.
