He has already played for Bolton and West Ham so wouldnt be able to play for another team this season.
I thought the rule about not playing for more than 2 clubs is for permanent transfers? So he can only play for 2 clubs on a permanent basis? I could be wrong like, but you see players often play for their parent club and 2 other loan clubs in the same season. Kevin Long did if I remember right.
Think you're right. Two permanent clubs, and three clubs including loans, I think. Weren't we linked with him in the summer, but he went to Bradford instead?
Just looked it up and found this Players may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during one season. During this period, the player is only eligible to play official matches for two clubs
Kevin Long played for Barnsley and MK Dons in 2015/16 season but never played for Burnley by the looks of it so only played for 2 different teams that season.
