Why should he back tract...hes telling it like it is .....standard of refs at times is appalling and let's be fair most of us at times think and say a lot worse....yeah I get he's in the public eye and therefore should have kept his gob shut but come on its a storm in a tea cup he didn't mean it to literally happen .... in my opinion he fails to add ...... with **** 2 words to follow the word shot....

While I do agree he has to be charged I'm sure he does regret it. Words said in the heat of the moment, refs aren't allowed to speak after a game, maybe managers should wait a hour or two. (Or a day!)

Good. Thoroughly deserved. The disrespect shown to referees by both players and managers is a real problem and only serves to influence young kids who see it and think its ok to do the same.

He should never have said what he said. I know that we all get a bit peed off by referees, but we're not in a position of responsibility like he is. He's a professional football manager. A very well paid football manager at that, he's probably earned more money than I could hope to do in a lifetime. He should act in a professional manner, if he needs a role model, just look 16 miles along the A635 at a certain Paul Heckingbottom.

O/T, Norwich just equalised in the last minute of injury time. Get in.

The Paul Heckingbottom who has been sent off a couple of times and once tried to attack members of the opposition bench? Passion gets us all sometimes

True, but he didn't shout his mouth off on the radio.
