this is gonna be a beauty ... two games that we seen have used on TV and already its being slated... and by who.... players who used every trick in the book to con refs... hopefully the con men players are finally are gonna be found out. I would love to give some footage of the likes of Linneker, Shearer et al to be analised by V.A.R. They would not come out squeaky clean as they like to say to us they were. They do not like it 'cos they know it will show the likes of them to be sham.... funny how it works so bloody well in Rugby and is totally respected too. IMHO V.A.R will be breathe of fresh air and will reveal the likes of (from the past) Maradonna, Ronaldo, Klinsman etc.... just think this... if V.A .R had been about for "the Hand Of God" incident" then England might well have had two world cup's under their belt. I for one welcome V.A.R with open arms... lets next get the "Sin Bin" organised .... and then temporary subs for "blood/injury " incidents as they do also in Rugby and Cricket. And for the record I thought they were both not penalties, but two very subtle dives.
Personally I think it’s almost a big a gimmick as the total waste of money that is goal line technology
Well the ref didn't need VAR to spot the 2 dives last night. Cheating of the highest order. The big boys didn't like the fact that they were failing to beat a team from the league below so resorted to trying to cheat the victory instead. As it turned out both ended up with red cards anyway but for me it should be an automatic red and a several game ban. Every time.
Lampards goal against Germany that crossed the line by miles would’ve been given, maybe they should go back analyse every game and get every incident changed if necessary, then find out what the leagues would be like! I think like in rugby and cricket that the refs microphones should be adauble then we be able to hear what the discussion is or reasonings behind cards etc!
I think that should be introduced as a punishment for clubs that break the FFP regulations. We'll be back in the Premier League in no time.
