Day been cut short due to road closures. Everyone must be at the ground by 13.45. Roads will be closed from then and re-open after the match. *****!!! Cutting our Tamworth drinking session early!

Is this different to the normal road closures around the stadium on matchday?
That only means you cant drive up to the stadium - the car parks nearby should still be accessible - or is there something different to normal that you know.

They close off around the ground every match.

All the coaches were told yesterday by West Midlands Police to be at the away supporters car park by 13:45 at the latest or the roads around that area will be closed and the coaches won't be allowed to park there, and will then have to find somewhere else to park, which they say won't be easy and will be at least half a mile from the ground

I can recommend the Barton Arms in Aston about 10-15 minutes walk to the ground . Oakham ales , decent Thai food and a lovely old tiled pub

Sorry for late reply. Got it sent to me early this morning. Police advised as stated above. I drove there last season and just parked on a street nearby. (Was surprised to see car there after match) the coaches won’t park anywhere else so not gunna have as much time as we would have had in Tamworth.
