I agree, one of the finest players I've seen at Oakwell. If he had been a pilot, he could have flown a jumbo jet through the Woodhead tunnel without touching the sides. And don't get me started on that free kick against Port Vale. Their keeper hypnotised himself trying to keep his eyes on the ball as it swerved around for ages before going in.
I have to disagree , I thought he was very talented & his left foot was sublime , but trouble with Ally was , he was alleged to like the odd tipple , which was a pity because he was a lot better than division 4
