That's probably right I have read he owns 40%, I assumed Zheng had the rest. Will their focus be more on us with such a big holding over here and a more lucrative Premier League. They've a lot more control than they have over Nice.
The ceiling is definitely higher with the premier league potential in England. Even if you do well in France, it's still the French league. I'd think they have the same level of control in both cases?
Attendances in general are lower in Ligue 1 than the EPL. http://www.worldfootball.net/attendance/fra-ligue-1-2017-2018/1/
This is mainly due to the fact that the league has more teams than Spain, Italy and France who all have a larger average attendance: Averages for 2016-2017 Germany - 41,516 EPL - 35,809 Spain - 27,590 Italy - 22,047 France - 20,963 Championship - 20,084 (source http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/attn.htm)
It would be interesting to see what the average seat price is in each of those leagues. Also, what those attendances mean in ratio to average full capacity
It is correct in terms of numbers of people watching the matches, but there are 172 more games played over a full season in the Championship compared to La Liga (for example).
I know this is stating the bleeding obvious, but there's some serious coin in Nice generally, I expect that they can sell boxes and sponsorship in a quality stadium for some big wonga that South Yorkshire can only dream of,
