Wait a minute, you advocate a statue built of a Feminist ( no doubt from public funds) and then call Feminists left- wing and hypocritical. She was first and foremost an evil cow who as Prime Minister headed and mobilised the state machinery in an unprecedented level against ordinary people in Towns like ours for nothing more than vindictive political ideology. BTW Can you prove that all Feminists are left wing and hypocrites. A college lecturer of mine when asked if she was a feminist replied, ‘tell me what a feminist is and I’ll answer your question’ I also knew females who claim to be feminist and are certainly not left-wing.

    As good as
She manipulated the boundaries to make it almost impossible to depose them and gain seats with very little percentage of total votes

The only thing that she did for this country was to provide the film and TV program makers with a pupit deficting her on spiting image which took the plss out of her and provided the country with a chance to laugh at her.

Besides lining her own pocket and seeing her shares in South African coal sore she welcomed into her inner circle her friend Jimmy Saville and to top it all off dismissed the allegations about heath and co, she used the police force as her own personal army encouraged the self first bugger everybody else attitude which is oh so evident today
But the worse thing of all... she used up oxygen that could have been used else where to better effect

Where's the wind-up? Hardly controversial for the first female PM to have a statue outside the H of C is it? Why is there a statue of Mandela outside when he was a foreign leader and nothing to do with the H of C? Other than political correctness that is?

Can't stand Tony Blair but he won 3 elections and should have a statue as well in time.
