Absolutely garbage. I love Hecky, but this is the only thing about him that is questionable. His insistance on picking Potts! Surely to god young Jared Bird would have been a better option? Potts looks to me like he would be far more comfortable at Aintree!
Whats happening with this austrian midfielder? narsmuller? if he's a dead rubber then the club best be putting offers in for one or two more decent midfielders who can tackle and possibly lead a team?
Potts needs sometime away from the first team and hopefully new signings, motley Henry coming in, izzy coming back, Gardner and Williams back then he can now have a break and hopefully come back stronger next season. Moncur may be a decent squad player / coming off the bench. As everyone on here says new signings please and give hecky a chance.
Change the record potts is in a different midfield every other week its a wonder they know each others names
It's the job of the players to give fans something to get encouraged about and after 13 months of garbage they haven't been got at in a hurry.
No amount of encouragement will help if you’re simply not good enough. And unfortunately that is the case with Potts.
Brad potts= the scapegoat. A guy sat near screams at every little mistake he makes it all on him. So one week I think it was in November I decided to do the same with Williams who he likes (So do I actually). Except I didn't scream just loud enough for him to hear "another mistake" ect. Now I've not been or seen anything of today but Potts is rarely our worst player but just seems to take all the criticism and i can't work out what the lad has done wrong. I would always take Potts before Moncour for example.
Moncur was easily Barnsleys best player today. Of the rest I could only give Cavare and possibly Yiadom any credit. The rest were awful.
What's up with Brad Potts.? Has he picked up an injury.? He wasn't even in the squad on Saturday. We've only won six games this season and it's not escaped my attention, that Potts has been in the starting line up for everyone of those games. I appreciate he's like Marmite to some of our supporters. Unlike some , he gives one hundred per cent and shows total commitment and at least has a go and to my mind, you can't fault the lad for that.
F*ck me you people are onto criticising players before they've even moved to the country now. Would love to say its shocking. Can't wait for a few wins if only to put people like you back in their box.
I think it's more to do with the fact that the opposition were dogger than it is to do with Potts starting.
