Despite today we're still in with a good chance of staying up. The bottom teams, including us, are showing very few signs of improved form. Even though Sunderland won today, Hull (obviously) lost, so that didn't really change much. Here's the latest predicted points totals based on current points per game (before the Wednesday result). Still think it could be a record low survival total. Team Games Points Predicted QPR 28 33 54 Millwall 28 32 53 Fowls 27 31 53 Reading 28 29 48 Barnsley 28 27 44 Bolton 28 26 43 Hull 28 25 41 Sunderland 28 25 41 Birmingham 28 24 39 Burton 28 24 39
Bit desperate but I can fully understand why people are concerned. We are massively short in too many departments not to be worried. Our team has very little experience, the goalkeeper breeds no confidence in anyone we require an experienced centre half a creative midfielder two wingers and a striker who scored goals but apart from that!!!! Oh and the formation choice today was rude
That doesn't look too far off to me. Cant see us getting anywhere near 50 points this season.. not without a vast influx of better players.. Here's hoping for 3 worse teams
I'll post it after every game from now on. I believe the end of season positions, for all clubs, will largely depend on what happens in the next couple of weeks with transfers.
I'm sure I read on the BBC Sport website before the start of the season that we were predicted to finish 19th. Feels about right.
