We seem to be a general 5/2, which represents a c. 28% chance. I'm a little bit more optimistic than some on here. I assume that Gardner and Williams will both be back available. I also think that Moore will have had another week to be programmed. I'm not sure if Izzy or Hedges are close, but with either of them and Hammill on the flanks I'd like to think we could be capable of getting a bit more service in to Keiffer or Tom/Thiam. I think the back four (with Pinillos presumably challenging Yids) are solid enough when they maintain their concentration - something Hecky will not doubt be impressing upon them this week. Fulham only beat us 2-1 at their ground, and I think we can potentially put out a stronger side than we have done in recent weeks.
Fulham, despite not doing it against some other teams, turn into Barcelona whenever they play us and have won 8 out the last 10. They score loads, meaning our 1 goal every 2 games needs to improve if we're to get anything. If we can finally take a few chances we might win. If we don't, no chance.
Williams has a 3 match suspension, so I assumed he will be out. Gardiner back though. Will be a stern test. A point would do me,
Williams still suspended but happy with Gardner doing the defensive role. If we get a couple more faces in then may inject a bit of belief into the team and could see us getting a draw. Can't say I'm too optimistic though.
We're due a win against them and I think we'll do it Saturday. As things stand I'd go with :- Davies Cavare Pinnock Lindsay Yiadom Isgrove Gardner Mallan Hammill Thiam Moore Subs: Townsend, McCarthy, Pearson, Pinillos, Moncur, Potts, Bradshaw
Going by Gardners excellent performance v wolves, I'd like to see him there again without Williams. Saturday is his opportunity to make that place his own. Re Williams. It might even suit him to play further forward? He's very young and can get up and down.
well after the dreadful news about Patrick, I would hope the players will come out like lions and give it more than their best in his honour.
