Like many, if not most, fans, I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but today feels like I've lost a close friend due to the act of generosity given to us all in saving the club we love.
    Rest in Peace.

RIP Patrick, one of football's best. One of the stand's being renamed the Patrick Cryne Stand would be a fitting tribute.

Given his commitment to it and the ideas behind it I think it would be lovely to doing something around a permanent memorial in or around the academy.

Not unexpected, but a shock nonetheless.

The one who saved us gets to team up with the one who made us.

We should all be eternally grateful for all that Mr Cryne did for this wonderful club of ours. I know I am.

A stand named after him would be a fitting and lasting tribute.
