The situation with the North Stand capacity for away supporters is getting worse rather than better. SWFC say that 4,069 is their full allocation.

    Disgraceful .
If it had been a night match they would only be allowed two men and a dog .
No wonder opposition fans try to get into home areas .

The only thing that bothers me here is the fact that an adult is charged 36£ to watch a 2nd division football match.

Does "full allocation" mean they won't get any more if they sell out the 4,069? Or will more be made available if they do? It would be stupid not to let them fill the stand if they can especially now that Winnall can't run to the corner with the East Stand to celebrate with them if he scores.

No that's the full allocation to allow for all aisle seats, the front rows, back rows and a block near the east stand to be closed to stop fans getting into the pitch, banging on the stand or standing in aisles. It's the council who insist on it with the safety certificate and the club could challenge it but believe that it isn't worth it with the hassle it would be for the extra police and stewards, extra trouble and arrests, complaints from people in the restricted view seats and the agro it would cause with the council who could get awkward with there things.

It sounds bad but actually all things considered it isn't the worst decision. It's also something that can be revisited and changed at a later date if we can put policies in place for better crowd control.

The safety certificate has been changed in the last week then. It's 631 tickets less than we have been allocating all season. Wolves sold 4,700 for our last home game.

I would imagine that is to allow for a small section near the tunnel to be cordoned off too but I could be wrong.

South Yorkshire Police seem to want crowds to be below the 16000 marks every week

Makes it all the more crazy that we bothered with that new stand at all. Money could have gone elsewhere and away following restricted to a couple of thousand and all out in the open

Going to lead to Wednesday fans in the home ends too more than likely.

Doubt it, they’re giving their season tickets back so l doubt they’d want to travel 12 miles up the A61 to watch em.

Ah but everything is better now without Carlos isn’t it? They are about to launch their bid for the playoffs and beating us will just be a formality. Or maybe not.
