I've only heard good things about LJ from people in the game. Just because you don't like him doesn't make him a bad manager or hated by everyone.
Funny reading comments from Norwich fans wondering what his position actually is. I wondered that, all the time he was with us. A good player, no doubt, but difficult to categorise what he was. Perhaps the old fashioned "utility player" label fits.
Funny how Watkins played the best football of his career under LJ. And arguably Winnall, Fletcher and many more.
There’s a reason many loved playing under Johnson at Oakwell & it was because training was a piece of piss, all the fun bits, passing drills & small games all the time. Barely any of the work needed on set pieces & shape off the ball which was probably why we used to lose at home so often despite dominating the possession.
Strange one that, rejecting a 7 figure bid for a fringe player, cos that`s all he is there at the moment.
