    I hope for the club’s sake that he has tried to pull a fast one by increasing his demands and that we’ve turned around and told him where to go.

    Could be any host of things. Medical, last minute change of heart, better offer elsewhere, saw the town and didn't fancy it, actually looked at the table and saw where we were, his agent, all sorts of things.

    Seems a bit strange he travels all the way here from France then pulls out.... Could be problems with medical or agents moving the goal posts once they arrived? Either way I'd much rather us not spend close to 1 million pounds on someone who doesn't 100% want to be here.

    I think they were exciting times.

    But now they don't seem as exciting as what they once were.

    Inability to get signings over the line is going to cost us relegation.

    We need something quickly.

    19th in the Championship, and gone on record saying we will not brake the wage structure... May have more to do with it..
    Found out he was not going to get as rich as he thought more like...

    Does make you wonder if there' something wrong with the new CEO and his ability to sell our club .or do the new owners need to look at the wage structure buying for aprox 1 million you'dThink it would need a bit more than about 7 grand a week Quite a few not got over the line.

    Exactly, this is why we're in the mess we are in right now on the pitch, pay peanuts, get monkeys, albeit a couple showing enough talent to play the organ eventually. Its unsustainable trying to carry on as we have this season in this league. The wage structure needs upping or we will never go any further in the championship and hopefully premiership and have probably reached our pinnacle right now. Bit of a waste of time buying the club if they just want to keep penny pinching and somehow strike lucky and earn the odd few million if we unearth another gem or two?
    I thought our billionaire owners with all their savvy would have instantly latched onto this obvious problem, maybe not?:confused:
