If you want a few beers and some nightly entertainment (WMC standard), Benidorm is ok out of peak season.
For a city break Prague, Budapest, Talinn (may be a bit chilly in November), Bruges are all lovely places to visit.

Depends what you'r looking for. Someone mentioned krakow and I can back that up. Went for 4 days last December and me and the Mrs spent £300 between us. This included a visit to schindlers factory me going to Auschwitz with my mate, a tough trip at times but a must do, my wife going to a spa, nice meals out, drinks and return taxis from the airport. The square is worth a visit and beer the most we paid was £3 a pint the least 80p a nice meal for 4 in a restaurant we were advised to book in advance including 2 courses and a couple of rounds of drinks £50 between us. Has a lot going for it but obviously in November will be a bit nippy.

I was looking at going in May but it's still a bit chilly even then. Going to Athens this year and might go to Krakow next August.

Nuremberg Christmas market...not done the market yet but a lovely easygoing city...nice and compact with plenty going off, Reasonably flat (apart from the castle, still managed to push our lass up there in her wheelchair though ;) ) and 10 mins by train from the airport (Ryanair from Manchester),

    November.
    Guaranteed sun.
Guaranteed to be stunned (if you haven't been before).
Then it has to be Goa, India - which is sort of an introduction to India.

Went to krakow for the 1st time this summer and was really impressed much better than I thought it would be.

We did Auschwitz + Wieliczka salt mine in one day at a cost of £50 pick up and drop off (8am to 8pm) is a long day but worth it. Auschwitz is such a humbling experience and if anyone is in krakow I'd definitely recommend. The salt mine tour blew me away very very impressive.

We went shooting aswell (8 types of guns) which was fun (£70)

Schindlers factory museum has loads of WW2 memorabilia and takes a good hour or two to see it all.

The castle and its ground are stunning.

If you anyone goes make sure you stay in the old town (central krakow) which is where the majority of the bars/pubs/restaurants are there's load of rooms centrally if you look on booking.com

    £18 taxi from airport

As CHOP posted you really do get value for money when drinking + eating I will definitely be going back again I've recommended it to my parents who are 60.
