I haven’t blanked that 2nd 45 minutes out because I was pleased to see some good old fashioned character on display as most of our lads busted a gut to get something from the game.
They did it was just depressing. We had played a brilliant pressing game just like last season in the first half. Then when we couldn't do that in the 2nd half you knew what was coming. Yes the lads battles hard no question I stayed and applauded them off gave everything can't ask for more than that.
Davies Yiadom Mills Lyndsay Pinnilos Hammill Williams Gardner Mahoney Moore Mcburnie. Force to reckon with, Qpr 0 Super Reds 2.
There's no doubt 2 big strong quick lads both good in the air and on the ground and will put the work rate in. Can't wait.
Can't argue with that I also thought about mallan instead of Williams and wouldn't have any fear about giving townsend a start.
With isgrove, knassmuller, pinnock, cavare, mallan all could easily start and back up them with Jackson Bradshaw hedges moncur, not looking too bad.
Davies Yids Mills Lindsay Pinillos Williams Gardner Hammill Mallan Mahoney Moore I'd love us to go 442 with Gardner and Mallan in CM with the attacking options we now have but just can't see it happening at Loftus Rd - I reckon Williams will come back in (with a view to Mallan shifting back alongside Gardner to accommodate Knasmullner when he arrives). Hammill ahead of Hedges and Isgrove based on his recent form and their fitness levels. Moore deserves another look although intrigued how McBurnie and Mallan will link presuming they already know each other from Scotland age group duty. I'd also expect Hecky won't throw more than two or three of the new lads into the starting XI and of those Pinillos is almost a shoo-in already. Bench is looking stronger now with Thiam, Potts, Fryers and McCarthy all missing out.... : Townsend, Pearson (cover for CH and full back with a Yids switch if need be), Moncur, McBurnie, Bradders, Hedges, Isgrove (if fit).
