1 win in 15 Not won at QPR since 1950, 20 losses out of 23 games there since. 33 quid a ticket Near 400 mile round trip Played there loads Phenomenal support. Safe journey everyone, I'll be there for my 3rd visit and hopefully something other than a defeat this time.
I'm a bit more upbeat about tomorrow with the new signings. 4 strikers to choose from. That's got to be good for competition.
On are way. Must be a lot going on train. We only have 1 bus from courthouse. Can feel a good day coming. I mean... gunna find a boozer that’s got pints cheaper than £4.50
And don't think that the roof will keep, you dry. A few years ago my "gold" ticket did not guarantee a comfortable seat. I was sitting under a leak in the roof. The weather forecast is not good. Perhaps I will be lucky this time with my "upper-gold" ticket.
My last visit there was 25 January 1997, quite an eventful day out. Andrew Impey laid out Nicky Eaden and Trevor Sinclair scored the second best goal I've seen live. (Barnard #1). Later that night we (12 of us) dropped on a group of West Ham's more spirited chaps. After a little chat we ended up getting a bit of a hiding. The fuller details of this encounter are retold in a Hooligan book called 'Capital Pinishment'. Suffice to say the real story is nothing like that retold but it was a day out in the capital I'll not forget for many reasons. For those travelling have a great day out and fingers crossed for three points.
I do actually like going to Loftus Road, its one of my favourite trips for pre game shenanigans. its ******* dreadful for football though.
