Totally agree. Absolute class today. Stood head and shoulders above the other players in two very poor teams. Although I'm sure if he'd been playing for us Hecky would have taken him off .... totally mystified as to why Hammill was substituted - our best attacker on the day.

When you look at who we lost last season, it looks worse everytime actually..... Roberts, Winnall, Hourihane, Scowen, & Watkins. And we stupidly kidded ourselves that unknown kids from the lower leagues and Premship reserve players were going to be adequate replacements. Disgraceful to be honest!!. Whoever was to blame for this appalling piece of naivety, and Im guessing it wasnt just down to one person, well they are getting what they deserve now arent they and thats certain looking relegation. The trouble is though we as fans had absolutely no say in this negative sell high and buy cheap mentality, and we dont deserve this relegation. But then again even though we're the paying public, what does that matter eh.
He wanted to be paid what he was worth. Had the money wasted on Mowatt and Potts been used to offer him improved terms, I reckon he'd still be here.
