Should Hecky leave, a name I've not heard mentioned is the guy who has just left the Leeds post himself Thomas Christiansen. By far in my opinion, Leeds were the best side who beat us from minute 1 to 90 this season. Pains me to say it but they were. They pressed from the front, looked very fit and played some half decent football. Reminded me of us in L1 but better. He plays a formation that would suit our list of 10,000 numbers 10's in our squad. Shoot me down if you think it's stupid but give me a reason to rule him out? Would he come if approached tho?
You could say that about any appointment we get then in that case. I don't think we are far off from being a good side. The foundations are there. We've just signed 6 players is it this month yet to show us what they can do.
We need a Warnock type, to get ***** players playing average to stand a chance of survival. Pains me to say it, but Grayson fits the bill.
That’s not necessarily the case. Just look how we got on in League 1 initially the year we went up. I agree with the OP, TC is a good shout.
Preston and us are quite similar. Both have wealthy owners but work within sensible budgets. Grayson could be the ideal man having worked there.
We can still run around a lot and press like Leeds did. Even if we don't know exactly what to do when we win the ball. We're not a basket case yet. The new players may add a spark. TC would have something to prove. If not him, I'd have more hope if we imported someone GG might fancy from France. Failing that, we'd be left needing to place our trust in the Lord, and thus Bobby has a direct line going there. These tired types on the managerial merry go round just depress me.
I disagree..we have plenty of decent players (when we can keep them fit ) to compete in this division...only a few tweaks are needed.
Need someone to come in and sort out a balanced team without the swapping and changing week in week out! Get players playing with understanding through playing together regularly. H didn’t know or want to know his best lineup
