I'd be very surprised if this move wasn't on the cards before PH signed the new contract.

It sounds very much like the last piece of the jigsaw.

An amicable departure, both parties content.

Maybe Hecky told them he was thinking about leaving and that if they put a release clause in it they will get compo paid by Leeds. We don't have to pay him if he leaves us.

That sounds more believable than some of the Heckys done a big one on club as some are now suggesting

    I wouldnt call it amicable.

Signing a new contract and then the blower goes the a couple days later to activate the very new clause inserted.

    Oh aye.

Its tapping up in every sense of the word. But one that lets a **** situation become legal.

He’s had a year of doing an almost impossible job who can blame him.

I'l vouch for you. When others were flapping on the takeover you seemed in the know but didn't say too much just that it was still on and happening.

Maybe amicable is the wrong word but I think both parties will be content.
The owners will be relieved that they don't have to sack him.
PH has a pay rise and avoids the sack.

Not fact just opinion but it's what I believe.

Well I don’t blame him if that’s what his ambitions are . Bigger club ,better salary,
More resources etc etc . Choose what anybody says football employees and football fans have different agendas the Norman Rimmingtons of this world are far and few between and are solid gold to the fans.
But Hecky will have to take the consequences of the passions of the fans ( not the abuses or over the top reaction some will no doubt think acceptable ).

It does but if what is being said on this thread turns out to be true then the world of football is even more baffling than I give it credit for and it had a lot of credit to start with .
I’ll wait for hindsight before I judge

We lost 4 first team players having lost Mawson already. and then lost Yiadom for most of the rest of the season. No team can do that.

This has all happened very quickly. He’s only changed agents this morning if reports are to be believed.

Don’t know if he spoke to other clubs but he never had any intention of leaving the area.

So no chance of Norwich & Sunderland’s a stretch almost every day

Leeds fans seem to be split between those not impressed and those buzzing only cos they've took him off us ...
