Paul heckingbottom was part of that pityful recruitment said himself. And said Leeds have a recruitment team where as here he would take time looking at recruits scouted ugbo at Chelsea u23s his players
According to Statton on Dee dar we’ve dropped into the bottom three again . Emphasis on again as if we’d been in and out all season . Ffs it’s time Dee dar feked these lazy journos off .the facts and knowledge they posses about our clubs is an utter joke . One thing about Paul Walker is he would at least correct callers and know the situation at all the clubs .
******* pointless having this debate now We are where we are. We followed the plan not only in recruiting punts in an arrogant fashion but also in using the same analysis methods to suggest Watkins/Scowen/Roberts should be let go.
It's pointless going over hecky but let' bring up watkins who wanted to leave in jan and is on near on 20k a week at Norwich. Let' get flicker back and get him to sign his pals up much better strategy
If you are referring to todays game , what negative tactics & out of curiosity , were you at the match today ? ( not having a go )
Disappointed to see us in this position after today but one win in sixteen speaks for itself. Thought we gave the ball away far too much today. Gardner and Williams were really poor for me today. Survival is looking tough now
We will stay up.....End of. Plenty of points still to play for. New manager to impress in time for taking on Burton. These boys will do it.
Knew it was a sinking ship, jumped before he got pushed. All that money from player sales and wev got a piss poor midfield and strike force like this
That we were arrogant to think we could build a entire squad over the summer, bringing in players from much lower down the pyramid and compete at this level straight away.
That's not arrogance. It's a philosophy. Or a strategy. Why should anyone's idea about building a football team be labelled "arrogance"?
Said him self we cannot afford proven championship players not just transfer fees wages aswell. It is what it is
Yes and in my opinion a arrogant one. We seemed to think because of the success we had previously achieved we could do it with a entire squad. Recruiting from even lower down the first time we did it. To go straight I to a higher league than last time we developed players. Ok it's a strategy, but one where a fight to stay up was on the cards from day one. If anyone at the club who implemented this policy believed otherwise then they were arrogant. (In my opinion)
It was arrogance to do it to such an extent and then worsen it by not retaining Scowen and force Roberts out.
Not promising in re the above comments that they were treating Isgrove with icepacks when he came off.
