Agree. And it will. Unlike what seems to be the majority on this board, I believe we shall stay up.

Completely agree...Hecky was too cautious for me...as was PH yesterday, last 20 we should have thrown on Mallan or Moncur on to try everything to take all three points against a poor side.

It's completely in our hands. **** up the Burton, Birmingham and Hull games and it probably won't be, mind.

Funny when the transfer business was done we had a poll and said so you think we will survive it was a unanimous yes. Since then we lost to QPR lost our head coach (who imo is a big part of why we are where we are) drawn to wendys and its all doom and gloom on here. Next 3 games are vital 6 points minimum.

Well in that we might be able to finish 4th or 5th bottom then yes they are. They have also shown over the course of the season they are not good enough to win more than 6 games to this point.
So yes they are good enough to stay up. But are also poor enough to go down.

Hard to tell as the new guys are still bedding in. The squad we arrived with in January definitely not but we have moved on since then.

Our points return over the 31 games so far has been c.0.9 per game. Over the last 10 (league) games that has fallen to 0.8 per game. That probably yields us between 40-42 points for the season. We are looking for McBurnie and Knasmullner to make the difference. Big ask.

If Hourihane and Winnall could (make a difference), why not? Plenty to play for yet.

They are more than good enough. There are three worse squads. At the very least.

That doesn’t necessarily mean they won’t be relegated - it’s a strong possibility - but I think player wise we have enough.

Whether it is on time, and whether whoever the new manager will be will be able to turn the squad of players into a winning team, remains to be seen.

We don’t exactly need a run of form a la the flicker season to stay up but we do need some wins. Burton isn’t even just a six pointer, it’s the season in one game. Win and we’ve a good chance, lose or even draw it will be an uphill struggle.

I’ll say this though. Hecky has burnt his bridges and I’m not saying he hasn’t made errors this season but I don’t think we’d be where we are had the McBurnie deal gone through in August. We’ve been very unbalanced as a squad until now.
