20 injured (so far) in florida high school shooting to go with the one two weeks ago and the one three weeks ago. It is the 18th gun related incident in a school in 2018. One every 2.5 days. 32 school days so far and 18 gun related incidents. One every 1.77 school days. Approximately one ever 15 hours of school.
Its clear America considers regular mass shootings a price worth paying to keep their Second Amendment rights.
Not seen much news today only Buffoon Boris trying to make out he cares for all of us re Brexit. I take it it’s not known yet who’s carried out the latest atrocities? My guess is it’s probably not Islamic terrorist related or I’m sure I would’ve read/heard about it by now.
It's a student at the school. Pulled the fire alarm and started shooting. He was on the run for nearly an hour afterwards and police have just announced that they have him in custody. They found him a mile from the school and drove kids to him to identify him.
And there we go with Donald offering his "prayers" for the victims. Every single time they pray as cover for doing f**k all.
Heartbreaking. Seldom am I ever lost for words, but when stuff like this happens ... I just can't comprehend something so evil.
Nothing will change in the USA. Even when they have a president who wants to make changes he cannot influence the powerful gun lobby.
And immediately on youtube there are nutjobs claiming its a hoax or a false flag operation. Staggering.
I've seen someone on a full blown rant about how it was the teachers' and other students' fault for not undergoing training and stopping the shooter earlier. As it seems a lot of these shooters are students of the school, I can't imagine as a teacher being faced with the prospect of having to shoot one of your students, even if they are shooting others themselves. The whole situation is mind boggling.
As my uncle Harry used to say ....when the Gerrys started shooting we Ducked when we Brits returned fire the Gerrys Ducked..when the Yanks opened fire ....Every fcuker and their dog Ducked
So if the student who did the shooting had been trained, they'd have 20 fatalities instead of 20 injuries....
Unfortunately there are at lest 17 fatalities already. And to pick up on Supertykes point earlier this is the 6th school shooting so far this year where there have been fatalities or students wounded by gunfire - so around once a week students are actually getting shot, Problem is its not going to change as there is too much pressure not to address the root cause It makes me very sad
