I've seen a few people say we should 'play the ref' and things like that. Should we? Is diving acceptable when it's your team who are cheating?

On Saturday Gary Gardner told one of our other players to dive. I forget which player it was but he told him to dive to win a foul. Is that acceptable?

    What level is ok?

For me we should be more assertive in appealing for correct decisions or formatting our case but I don't support cheating or diving one bit

In football, it's not remotely acceptable. I always found our players who dived pretty distasteful to watch. Lovely player that he was, Jovo Bosancic was one of the worst. His diving was embarrassing, and it had the unwanted side effect of him not being awarded genuine free kicks due to his rolling around antics earlier in the game.

If we're talking about Scrabble, I'd say that playing knowingly fake words is absolutely fine - if people can't spot them it's their problem. But spying in the tile bag or fixing it to make sure you get the blank at the start is definitely beyond the pail.

I thought from the title you meant relationships... what are you doing posting a football related post on a football forum?

But no, cheating isn't acceptable. In either scenario.

    Whatever we have to do.

Dive, surround the ref, time-waste, cynical fouls. I ain't bothered. I want to win.

Others do it to us. If they get it back, so be it. I don't think any Fulham fan will be regretting the dive which got Cavaré booked.

If we turn into Italy at Euro 2000 with our rotational fouling but stay up, good. Job done.

One interpretation of it is that it's a forum for Hammill, Isgrove and Hedges.

I don't want us to be that team, I'd hate it.

You might as well support Wednesday if you want that.

I want us to play proper football and not be lovely people please.

    No.

I despair of referees ever getting their act together on this. I don't know why they constantly get it wrong but I do think it's significant that the "bigger" clubs always get the decisions in their favour.

And if we were to go down you can always refer back to our recent home game with SW where there was a tale of 2 penalties.
