    Top appointment in my opinion. He won't be coming cheap and like any appointment he doesn't guarantee success but I'm delighted it's him when considering other contenders in the press. Belting CV on him.

    It's funny what impresses people isn't it? Some will look at his successes with Mourinho as an assistant, and not always the main assistant. But the role he's got here, he's the main person, he has to create, not follow. He's not done that much, and where he has, he's not been around long, and the places he's managed have been truly random.

    I wish him the best of luck, I truly hope our style of play improve and we stop with skillless hoofball and we do attack more. I'm really cautious about this appointment though, and interesting the club have offered an 18 month contract that doesn't seem to be a rolling one on first glance.

    Excellent experience, god knows what he's like as a manager. Lot more exciting than any of the other names about though - can't wait for Tuesday now.

    Paul Clement has an 'assistant' CV to match, if not better that. But as a number one?? Pffft.....

    Quite happy, pending result against Burton Tuesday. Good record but no track in English football at this level or ever fighting relegation. That said, much happier with this than appointing some over-paid has been journeyman of failure like Monk, Megson, or Curbishley. Better too than some Scottish second division manager or two brothers that have won a few games at Lincoln. Time will tell, but there is enough in the squad to keep us up.
