Regarding the 18 month contract when they wouldn't give the same to PH. Even more interesting is I've heard Morais is on more than PH is at Leeds.

Maybe they used the compo to entice a top coach to the club

The board played a blinder with the Hecky contract situation.

It literally couldn’t have gone better.

Whether it was luck or judgement let’s just be happy that what happened, happened.

Obviously we don't know the ins and outs but this is the first appointment for the new regime so he is very much their man

We've got extremely lucky with the last 2 managers. Both needed to go and should have been sacked but wernt gunna be. Somehow clubs have come in for them both and we've managed to get shut.

His pedigree as a assistant coach to a top manager. This I feel is a entirely different challenge. I have a open mind he may well be a great coach for us but i wouldn't get carried away by the club's he has worked at before. He will still be working with our players!

Agree. You don’t get that wealthy without making great decisions.

You do if you can luckily predict the winning lottery numbers a few times. ;)

Hecky didn't want a longer contract. He wanted a rolling one. Or so he said anyway.
