Amount of games we seem to lose our momentum in the second half has been incredible- not sure how much of an impact the coach can make in 15 games but it's something that needs addressing
Think there's a psychological angle to that as well - seems to be a common theme emerging that Hecky apparently emphasised the negative for want of a better phrase - so maybe a 'just a matter of time' attitude set in which led to us dropping off ?
The switching off and conceding at similar times in games is definitely a mental thing not a physical..
In my coaching days it was well known that as players tired their decision making became less efficient. But I doubt that fitness is an issue. We have had an award winning sports scientist working with us and players fitness levels are being monitored all the time.
And yet we've had the likes of thiam and moncur blowing out of their arses 40 minutes into a game all season and isgrove taking weeks to recover from dead leg
******** really, we should be putting games to bed in the first hour and then the game gets easier. Get the shackles off and we’re ******* golden
So we've got players with the wrong type of muscle fibre to play 90 minutes? I would have thought that was pretty fundamental
Heckys been bloody rubbish all season, glad to see the back of him tbh, he can take his negative tactics to bellend road, let them suffer for a bit, lol
