    Doesnt it make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up with excitement. ;)
    Ok yes he knows good PR and he really is saying what we'd expect him to. But I have to be impressed at what Ive seen and heard so far, its certainly brought my excitement and interest levels in the club back up again.
    And I dont mind admitting they had almost totally disappeared after recent events, and admittedly after what was starting to become an absolute shambles of a season.
    Bring on Burton & Brummingham now eh! lol.

    Loads of potential at Barnsley. Towing our bags out and in the drop zone, but still boast our biggest average gate in 17 years.

    Several clubs in this league and the prem that are similar or smaller clubs but doing better.

    Staying up, then a really good pre season of ticket offers could really grab people's imagination.

    He’s saying what many have posted on here, that is to concentrate on the short- term aim which of course is staying up. He says he gets what our club and our fans are all about, that’s not ******. By the way what would you expect him to say at this point? Yes we all know and get that it’s results that count for the rest of this season at least, but talk about having a downer on something. Perhaps a bit of positivity generating from the stands onto the pitch might help our cause as well.

    Had been hoping for Mick, but I'm well happy with the club's choice. I think he'll inspire us to get out of this terrible run of form. Burton game is a 6 pointer and if we can bang a couple of goals in things could change quickly.

    I agree & I think the believe statement is aimed at the fans, plenty on here have commented on Oakwell being like a mourge & has been for a bit, results we’ve had it’s understandable, but fans will be needed in a nervy run in...

    He's saying the same old words. He couldn't really say anything different, but some aren't going to get excited by words they have heard time and time again. A win on tuesday and then lets get excited, as only actions count.

    Although it would have been nice to hear his view on Mr C being briefly BBS banned :D
