There are no credible issues raised by Robinson. He is a hate preacher. A vile disgusting human being. Just as bad as the Muslim hate preachers (who he has a lot in common with). An utter scumbag a serial criminal. Lies to make what he perceives to be political points.
This kind of lazy, dismissive, sub-Guardianista rhetoric, as well as the chucking around of increasingly meaningless epithets like 'racist' and 'bigot', is exactly why I, and the vast majority of people in this country, can't take the left seriously, and consider it infantile. Christ alive, you lot even turned on one of your own last night in the since-deleted Mr C thread. As it was plainly self-evident that he was not being racist - quite the opposite in fact - the hysterical reaction that ensued was laughable, but not surprising given what this forum has become. That said, and as I mentioned in that thread last night, it was quite amusing to see him hoist on a petard of his own making.
I like Paul and in no way criticised him we’ve all been pissed and wound racist idiots up. It’s mildly amusing. Here’s Tommy’s criminal record. https://far-rightcriminals.com/category/tommy-robinson/ He’s a scumbag and anyone who supports him is a scumbag. He isn’t a racist however given the target of his hatred is not a race but a religious group. Clearly he’s a bigot. Of course anyone who takes their views from a petty criminal with a criminal history of violence is not a serious person to discuss anything with just an ill informed idiot.
Self-aggrandising claptrap. There's really no need to keep reinforcing my point for me, but cheers anyway. Of course you like Paul, having read many of his posts on here over the years, and yours too, one would have to assume that his world view and politics align with yours, so I can't imagine you ever criticising him, even if he does eventually do something that deserves it (which was not the case last night). That's how it works with the left isn't it - as long as you do it, it's ok, but lord help anyone from the other side of the political spectrum if they do something similar......... I'm not sure what having a criminal record has to do with anything. Does that automatically invalidate someone's views or make them a scumbag? That's an interesting argument.
To be fair he does get called racist a lot by people yet they can never seem to point out a specific example. https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/moment-ex-edl-leader-tommy-12041507 I doubt he is a racist, growing up in Luton, it's very multiracial.
I'd say it leaves Mandela exactly where he is.....on a very short list of truly great men of our age.
Seeing as we're just making stuff up about a group of people we cannot possibly understand without doing many years of in depth research - I think all matelots are gay cos they like to go round ports and bum other men, possibly.
I think the whole issue has degenerated into a left v right, anti pc debate based on the badly worded post of someone last night who would probably, in the light of day chosen a different thread title. Do I think he's a racist? No. Do I think it was a misjudged title? Yes. I firmly believe that it's generally the intent of what's said that constitutes racism. I also, however, find it ridiculous and disingenuous to try to suggest, as tyrone is doing, that the use of that particular word isn't racist and that criticising its use is just over the top political correctness. That word has been clearly derogatory for all my life and I'm 58.
He's far right and only an idiot would think he wasn't racist .. He's an islamophobe par excellence . He claims he's not far right, a Muslim hater or racist and a fascist .. he and his fans can claim as much as he/they want .. if it walks like a duck ...
We seem to be conflating a few threads here. I commented on the Mr C thread last night and today, and still think that one was a non-issue, however I can see from some of the other threads that Tyrone posted something recently that has also since been deleted, but I didn't see it before it disappeared - can anyone tell me what it was that he said - in a way that won't also get them into hot water?
I didn't see what Tyrone said (and which has since been deleted). I'm not sure which of my posts you're referring to, but they weren't about Tyrone or his comments. they couldn't have been as I didn't see what he said.
It seems like this Robinson fella has jumped on a plane for a day trip and is suddenly an expert on German politics . I'm going to take a guess he knows very little and is using the situation in Cottbus to further his own ends , like he s some sort of misunderstood good guy.
The conviction for assault for a religiously motivated attack would p suggest he is an islamophobe calling him racist is not accurate as Islam isn’t a race
