Not the most popular lad up there in Sunderland. Time to come home in the summer lad! https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/fletcher.1418786/
This made me laugh... Every time we all say (pic position) "This is the worst player I've ever seen at the club" the club's scouting system replies with "hold my beer”
Goodness me thats some bad stuff they are saying about him, and if its true then how or why has Ash become so bad. And it raises another question, should we bother with him again if hes struggling, especially at this level which we're hoping to stay in ?.
Lol It’s a real shame though. I think he is in danger of being a wasted talent. Not sure I want him back unless he finds his mojo again
My guess is that he almost joined us on deadline day, before someone/something scuppered the deal. He then got sent to Sunderland at the last minute, and he doesn't really want to be there. Agent Fletch kind of thing...
What, even after they've sacked Heckyar*se, which they obviously will ?. And Stahl, its poor from Ash though isn't it if hes refusing to play and make the effort for Sunderland, because he didn't want to go there.
Not good enough for us. Another club he's **** at that's three in a row so not a coincidence. Doesn't have the right attitude or show ambition. Seems to have let the money he gets go to his head, because he hasn't earned it.
After playing for us he didn't use what he learned to try and break the Man United side. Didn't learn at West Ham. Gone to Sunderland and seems like he's got a bad attitude and doesn't want to knuckle down.
Totally agree if true. I'm baffled as to why his career has gone the way it has. In "that" season in "that" team, he and we were so far ahead of the others it was laughable. Since then he's dropped like a stone. Something other than ability has had an effect somewhere.
He’s done nothing but make a stack of cash since leaving us. Good luck to him, but I’d rather stick with McBurnie.
Ok you've got to be a bit special to break into the Man Ure team, and that just didn't happen for him. Going to London/West Ham then for the big money was probably one the worst things he could have done. I keep wondering what he would have done with us when we came up, yes it was a step up but he still would have had the whole promotion squad alongside him. That was a real missed chance in his career, even though hes still only a kid of course.
