    I'd have been more worried if he'd come in and changed everything at once. The majority of the team will have been working on 442 or 451 variants. You can't expect them to pick up a completely new system 5 days...

    Seems logical given he’s not been here long.

    Bit odd not to see any winger on bench. Especially given Isgroves fitness record. Perhaps Moncur will play out wide if needed.

    Let’s hope the boys start like a steam train and get after Burton from the off. Need to build confidence as we don’t have any game changes on the bench in my opinion.

    Shame to see Mallan relegated from squad for Potts. But good luck to them all. Need everyone to start playing out of their skins to get some wins.

    Perhaps our JM thinks the players actually do have it in them to improve. Just listened to his presser again and he said they had a "shy" belief so maybe he has been working on improving attitudes etc rather than wholesale changes to the team.

    Spot on, people are losing their minds but he has clearly come in with "show me what you can do before I drop you, if you're ***** you're out". Good strategy IMO, leaves the players with only themselves to blame if they're dropped.

    His selection might be influenced by what he saw at Burton and in our game against Wednesday
    and the advice he's been given by Paul Harsley et al. Disappointed not to see Mallan at least
    on the bench or Moore upfront with McBurnie.We will have to wait and see how it pans out.
