Williams and Gardner should not start games together

Both are essentially the same player so it’s a complete waste of a position. I really had to double check whether Heckingbottom had actually gone to Leeds when I saw the Starting XI because it’s the same he would have picked but hopefully, Morais will have realised that Gardner and Williams are the drizzling shits when paired together and will change things up in our next match. Bradshaw has to be dropped now also, he’s just not the same player as he was at the start of the season and has had enough chances.

 

I worry if we play 4-2-3-1 which is something he spoke about, he may play them as the 2.......

 

That’s the stuff of nightmares. I pray this won’t be the case and I’m all for starting one of them, just not both. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realise this.

 

Neither could pass water. Couldn't believe Jose started with them in middle of a 442. Guess he was just after a bit of continuity after last game. Hope he's learnt his lesson now.....

 

Totally agree pal. I like them as players but it just isn’t working when they’re together.

 

Gardner, Mallan and Potts did well against Wolves but haven't been seen together again since Williams came back from suspension.
