1.Stop slagging off players 2points for optism

Knocking players does not do anygood so lets stop the blame game. In the second half (granted we were losing 2-0) when we went 433 we battered Burton. Changes Id make foe Saturday. 1 Davies is the better of our goalkeepers. 2 play a 433 formation as in second half....... Now Jose has seen a selection of his players , their weakesses and strengths, so he will select a formation of somebody elseAt least he can see the team performing or not in the previous managers formation but pick his own team and choose a formation that he wants. Keep the faith I think this guy will produce a winning team soon...

 

Booing at haif time seemed to have helped.

To be fair the crowd got behind the players as soon as we actually started to make an effort to go forwards.

That first half display was as bad as anything I've seen in the last 10 years at Oakwell (& there has been some dross, lets face it).
People come to see a game of football, not a capitulation.

The reaction to the last 30 minutes was positive, for those of us that stayed till the end.

 

Davies is the better keeper. Dodgy spell, ganted, but keepers last a long time. He has proven himself at this level and could have a long if unspectacular career. Townsend I think deserved a shot, but I could only ever see him being a lower league stopper. So he may be with us next season!
Jose has come across as intelligent in interviews, so let's hope he's seen things in his first week that will help prevent a similar display to last night. In short, I am hoping he is as ruthless as he is intelligent.
