He displays a sickening sense of self entitlement in that piece. “”I don't want to go too low that it's a struggle, and I don't want to go too low that I'm under someone and thinking 'what am I doing here?' I would rather be managing a club myself.“ Unbelievable.
If he's that good, he should hire himself out as a consultant for struggling managers. "Sol Campbell - success guaranteed or your money back!"
Yes I think we did miss out on one of footballs greatest minds after looking through this guys stats and some of his interviews! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graham_Potter
He says they have jobs in Germany for folk who talk their mind - get yersen going then Sol, you ******
What a complete and utter bell end he must be. If he went into a interview with that attitude it's hardly surprising no one will take him on.
If he hasn't been setup by the sky interviewer he doesn't come over very well does he. Mind you if I was an Oxford fan I wouldnt be much happier with Bellamy either. At least he didn't come out with his skin colour as a reason for not getting the job
Yes would be interesting to see context of the statement. I'm sure some group will be jumping on the colour of his skin as the issue. Who knows he may be great but I don't think that attitude going in will get him anywhere. He was a great defender that does not mean he will be a great manager. I wouldnt be thrilled with Bellamy but you can only assume he gave the people making the decision good cause to choose him over others. Maybe Sol should look in the mirror not be blaming the club's for not wanting him.
If he can’t see that his sense of entitlement and assumption that he’s the best thing since sliced bread might be holding him back, he deserves no job anywhere.
