Just something a bit more insightful than "believe". I'm not jumping on his case, I'm fully behind him. Think you're overreacting. I think (hope) he probably gives a lot more detail to the players. Just think his interviews have no substance. Doesn't mean I don't think he's not good enough. Several good managers have come across badly in interviews.
I agree about the empty platitudes we’ve had so far and make no bones about what I see to be a suicidal appointment. The last thing we needed, in this time of grave peril, was an inexperienced foreign manager cutting his teeth in an increasingly dire relegation scrap. It was a crass, bemusing selection process where we appeared to court numerous others before settling for José in the face of their rejection. Of course I want to be wrong and wish him every success and my concern should not be misconstrued or misrepresented as anything other than a genuine belief that we have put our Championship status in further jeopardy. It should have been Mick McCarthy at all costs and I truly hope that we are not left paying the price for our failure to secure his services.
Multi lingual Menai Tyke, blames new manager for relegation of bag of sh.te Barnsley, shocker. But I hope I'm wrong. Haha.
He’s got a bit of a poisoned chalice as patience and context is thin on the ground after being rodgered by Royston’s Rent Boy
A bold tactical and personnel change today - and a great result. It just might be that we really do have something special in Jose. And he didn't apply for the job - we went after him. So Gauthier too is beginning to look like quite an asset for us. And we have very wealthy owners. Interesting times!
