because he's going with an extra forward; thiam, mcburnie and moore. If potts is charging on having the crab twins holding might be a good idea

Thiams on the wing though in a 442, be useful there!

He's shown he can't score but has a good touch and cross on him, so why not have him on the wing?

You would think it would be 4-3-3 with that lineup? If it is 4-4-2 with Potts on wing then yeah it's ***** house

Let me ask you, honestly, are you optimistic with that team sheet? If you are then tell me where you buy ur rose tinted gebs from please cos I can’t see owt else but another loss coming today. We seem to be trying to compete for rock bottom just now never mind tranna avoid the drop.

Like the idea of 3 strikers on the pitch but not sure about who’s going to create. Thought Moncur or Mallan might have got a game. In Jose we trust. You Reds

    Highly doubt it.

That's what it says on Sky Sports but they wont have a clue and will just be going off recent games

You can only pass forward if players make themselves available....there was no movement off the ball first half on Tuesday....easy to blame the people in possession but if there is nothing on, they either have to go back and start again or play hit and hope hoof ball. Clearly we are going more direct with the 4-3-3 and personnel today

I guess he's playing 4-2-3-1, like he said he wanted to play. In that formation I'd pick Williams and Gardner. I don't think we have another midfield player at the club who could be part of that two. Plenty to choose from in the three ahead of them but not for the role they're being asked to play.

I'm optimistic that team will score before I get to the ground as per sods law - stuck on a bus in digbeth

And got in just in time to see us miss the penalty

2-0 up. 56% possession. Worst thing we've done is miss a penalty. Even if we lose it from here we are at least giving it a go for once.

Those who saw the first half at home last Tuesday were quite entitled to be negative.

We're all behind the team ffs.

Of course we are. That first half showing knocked a lot of faith out of folk. Today has restored it.

    We don’t need point scoring.

In my defence, sky had the formation as a 442 so thats what i went on as it looked poor that way. I'm glad its worked as i went off of poor information.
