Agreed, everyone seems to admire Warnock and his antics, bought time we stopped taking cr&p and gave it back.
Don't see any issue either way to be honest. Hose was most likely celebrating and he didn't want to stand and wait for that to end. No harm sure they will have shook hands later if they crossed paths.
I wouldn't dwell on it too much massive win if we lost many would have wrote the season off. Jose was celebrating with his players. Got till is abit of a **** anyway.
It simply looks like Cotterill walking off in a huff to me. If Jose was celebrating with his staff and players after securing his first win, it's not asking too much to expect SC to show a modicum of patience and wait. He doesn't even use the appropriate tunnel (which is in the corner) to the dressing rooms after his Drama Queen antics, probably to avoid any potential confrontation with home fans.
Little group of home fans at side of dugout. There were about a dozen of them singing and jumping about and half a dozen stewards keeping them from getting too close. Read on Birmingham forum that one had tried to attack Cotteril. Crazy how football can evoke such anger.
That's exactly how it looks. Cotterill didn't have the patience to wait another fifteen seconds while Jose celebrated with his team. I guess that under normal circumstances Jose would go and shake hands immediately after the final whistle but these were not normal circumstances and I can see how emotions got the better of him for a very short period of time at the end of the game.
Apparently, one home fan threw his season ticket at Cotterill today. Our football under John McSeveney evoked slumber!
How many of you oldies wanted to throw your season tickets at Jim Iley Out ?. (and 'Out' was his third name wasnt it)
At those prices? Are you mad?? FYI my junior season ticket for 1974/75 was £5 and my late Father said it was far too much for the poor football!
Season 1980-81 is when I became a fan Lil, not long after Clarkie had done a 'pre-Hecky' and left us for Leeds. He didnt last too long there did he, and I remember our Norm saying he refused to go with him, Barnsley was always his club and closest to his heart.
Mine in 1966 was £3. Centre stand next to the directors box. Not much inflation over the next 8 years
