If they're going to start.scrapping I hope it's amongst themselves! I'm genuinely worried for our fans.
No bother at all found all the Brum lot friendly today. Went to the Brum store after the game with my son to get a pin badge for his Brum supporting granddad. We got out just in time to see all the Barnsley fans leaving on coaches all of them waving and clapping my son when they saw him in his BFC stuff on the way past. Lovely moment.
I never find it to be "tasty" anywhere these days. I can't remember the last time I saw trouble or felt threatened at a league game.
Walked it back to train station , few of their fans I talked to can’t believe how bad they are . Losing to teams like Barnsley I heard a few times
Agree with two exceptions:- 1) South Bermondsey train station after the Millwall league game; and 2) Wembley against Spurs, thanks to our own in-fighting muppets!
No hassle at all. Walked back into the city to meet my brum supporting mate who’d all left early, lightweights, and not a hint of anything nasty. Even blending in coming out the away end a few quotes but nothing threatening more along the lines you must love it here.
Only been to Millwall on coach cos it's another one of the London grounds where parking is poor. Must admit though, it's a pretty dour place and the police operation around the away end suggests there is always potential there. What happened at the station?
There is plenty of street, no restrictions, parking all around the ground - Bramcote estate opposite South Bermondsey station & ground; Galleywall Road; Surrey Canal Road running alongside south end of ground; Folkestone Gardens area etc. And dour? Bermondsey and Rotherhithe have some of the best old London pubs in the capital, either with views of the Thames, the city or the old docks. The ground is walkable or a short tube / bus ride from attractions along Southbank (Tate, Globe theatre, London Eye, all in Southwark!) Bermondsey Street has some excellent places to eat and drink, as well as shop, especially if you like antiques. And the Bermondsey Beer Mile is the best selection of independent craft beer producers in the entire country).
You obviously know the area. I'm just going on my view of the area surrounding the stadium. I must be one of the rare football fans that doesn't judge an area my it's bars. This is what I was going on.
