Just had a look at Hulls formation v blunts and they played exactly same formation as Birmingham yesterday according to Sky. Can't see much changing on Tuesday, and rightly so for me. First half reflected well on us going forward, and second on how water tight we were at the back.
If it ain't broken don't fix it as they say. Hopefully we pick up a result or you'll be finding a new player to make up derogatory and disrespectful names about.
Yeah, seen Mahoneys cameos and he doesn't look up to speed yet does he. Fryers has been good and bad too. Played ok yesterday, but again, maybe a bit rusty. I think having a settled team will help with that. Hecky swapped and changed so much it must be hard to build confidence without getting a decent run.
Look mate, you lost any credibility when you started using foul language whilst climbing onto your high horse. Continuing your grievance onto a totally unrelated thread is just akin to trolling. Where were you when people were calling Lee Johnson "the dwarf" when he was still an employee of the club? Social media is awash with people insulting players and managers, and in the crudest terms, yet you take such an exception to someone repeating a nickname. It might horrify you further to know that I can't claim the credit for "Tommy tap in". It's been doing the rounds for some time.
I swear. I’m not from the 1800s. To have to rely on that in retaliation shows you’ve not got a leg to stand on. I am just standing up for a player still in service to the club (by far top scorer might I add) that to my eye always gives his all for my club after a string of disrespectful posts from yourself.
I don't think I've retaliated to anything have I? I'm not the one carrying arguments from one post to another. I don't think I've aimed a string of insults at him. I've just called him by a nickname. If you don't like it, it's just hard luck.
Not sure what the score is with Mahoneys loan deal. Maybe he's got to make a number of appearances? Definitely didn't seem like we had brought fresh legs on yesterday. There was chance in the last minute when we had broke out and had a 3 on 3. The ball went out to him, and he neither attacked the defender or took it to the corner flag. Just looked totally bushed.
Will someone, anyone justify why Hammill should be anywhere near the squad. Had an awful season. 0 assists 0 goals. Can’t beat the first man with any delivery. Be gone in the summer. Can’t carry players in our situation.
Near the squad maybe we don't have a lot of options. But in the team I agree he doesn't deserve to be in the team and it was definitely the right call to try something else.
Better than mahoney and still has a big part to play in the squad even if he isnt starting. He gives 100% and is a model professional. Things havent quite come off for him this season but its not like we have any better options. Hes earnt the right to be cut some slack by the fans surely
Think it'll depend on which league were in. We were saying same yesterday that he's not been as effective in championship. Maybe could do it again in league one if worse happens, but he's not getting any younger so nothings a given. Agree we can't play players based on sentiment or past form.
Agree with this. Also, as much as I like him, Lindsay's had a few shaky moments of late. If Mills is fit I'd be tempted to go him alongside Jacko and give Liam a rest.
If I was going to change anything. Probably pinillos in for fryers. And isgrove on the bench for mahoney.
