4 and a couple of draws I reckon.

Just can’t see Mackems, Burton and Birmingham winning any more than that. Birmingham were awful yesterday, as bad as Sunderland away who were definite relegatees

The difference we have to make is put a little run together. Burton beat us on Tuesday and then lost yesterday so they can’t put a run together it seems.

Think if we can muster a win Tuesday night, it will put a big hole in it. Especially with some hard games to come. Thing is, I’m not sure where we are yet with Jose, is he going to make us any better in the short term. Yesterday was impressive but was that because Birmingham are toilet or did we make them look incredibly *****.

Possibly. But, like you, I believe we may need another five, along with two or three draws. One thing that might be in our favour is we have a superior goal difference than the others at the bottom end with the exception of Hull & Reading.

You can only beat what’s in front of you - and his team selection gave me hope as he stuck to his way of playing.

I hope he doesn’t chop and change loads as it’ll be good to have a settled side but of course he will know how fresh the players are. You’d hope all 11 are desperate to play again as soon as possible

It all depends on whether anyone around us can go on a run.

If, and it's a massive assumption, all teams maintain current form Birmingham would be expected to get to 41 points. Based on that 4 wins would be ample to see us safe.

Assuming someone at the bottom can go on a run, then it may be higher but I think the bottom three will struggle and points needed will be a lot less than previous years.

    I think we need five.

46 points would do it. It's a huge task.

    47 points should be enough . So 5 wins 1 draw or 4 wins 4 draws .

13 draws maybe might be enough

We had only won once in 17 before Saturday was it? And we only went in the bottom 3 last Tuesday that tells you how bad the others around us are. 5 wins and think we will be okay unless those around us start winning.

I think it's a bit too early to tell, if Brum say sack their manager.. next week, Which is not impossible, who knows, they may rally... Lot of ups n downs yet.The only ones who look doomed are Sunderland. Main thing is we're out of the bottom 3..so back in our hands
