Stiff competition from Sunderland. I feel better after yesterday but it is only one game against I very poor side. I just keep clinging to the fact that the others are just as poor. We only need a few wins and we should do it.

I think it will be a record low survival total, regardless of who eventually goes down. I do think that Sunderland, Burton and above all Birmingham are far worse than we are though. Possibly Hull, Reading and Bolton too. There's enough crap sides to give us a really good chance.

I always find it more interesting to see what the table looks like over the last 10 games or so as that gives more of an indication of what direction teams are heading in. Especially as their playing staff has probably changed quite a bit since the first 10 games and the January window.

Bolton and Hull both seem to be on a slight upward trajectory, especially Bolton.

There's often a team at this time of year that comes from nowhere to flirt with the bottom 3. Wednesday, Reading or Forest might fall into that category.
I hadn't realised Bristol City's form had collapsed to the extent they have the second worst record in the league over the last 10 games.

That's a surprising thing indeed: their manager is so gifted.

    Hard to credit, in't it?
    Haha, likewise.

I have recently discovered the joy of other clubs' forums.

The dissenters on otib are generally getting slapped down for the moment, but another couple of defeats and they'll be on his back big-time.

When he first went there some of our fans warned them what he was like, just as Oldham fans did with us.

Some Bristol fans took it as sour grapes because he had left us for them, but it was more because he'd been here at all.

1 win in final 10 games of his first season followed by a ridiculous losing run the following season, and with some of the best players the club had in years.

He's on his 2nd bad run at Bristol now and as much as some people are still showing patience with his all or nothing style of management, there will be quite a few waiting for him to fall on his sword.

When he was punching the air in front of us last season and rubbing it in, he overlooked the fact that it wasn't our fans that were putting banners up around the town, or making his personal life difficult. It was fans of his current club.
