I would be very surprised if it goes ahead, it's snowing here in South Derbyshire (forecast to snow on an off till the weekend) and it gets worse the further north and east you go.
I wouldnt be surprised if the Norwich match was called off.you know what it's like with H&S these days. A bit of snow on the pavement and matches are called off.
Whilst it was a farce, I seem to recall not being too disappointed when the game got called off. Meant we got to spend the whole day in Chorley, where the average price of a pint was about £1.80, and watch Newcastle beat Sheff.Weds on the big screen. Double bonus.
Just don’t award contracts to private companies anymore and give them to British Rail. Simple. No cash required. Next
Trying vainly to get the thread back on topic Having seen the weather forecast tonight, I'd be amazed if the game is on tomorrow. And if it is, its gonna be a hell of a journey over.
Less than 1" of snow over here in Hull this morning, so I don't think it will be off. Having said that, what does it take these days?
Surely it will be on - they have UFH for the pitch and there’s a big motorway connecting Barnsley to Hull....Its time to get that orange ball out!
Next to no snow in donny compared to what was forecast, though more forecast this morning. It’s not the link roads that’s the issue. If we get four inches of snow this afternoon as forecast they’ll struggle to play
If they can't get the game on, they've no business calling themselves yorkshiremen. I'll expect the Reds to play in short sleeves, no gloves, and to adopt the McBurnie bare shins fashion.
