It’s a backwards step for Mansfield

Its a weird one, Swindon look to be averaging 2-3k more a game, which is basically twice the Mansfield gate a lot of the time, although Mansfield are above Swindon in the table.

Good luck to him. That second half of the season under him was fantastic.

He managed to get so much effort from some pretty limited players and it was a breath of fresh air.

Northern lad so a move to Mansfield gets him closer to his roots.

Beyond the tub thumping, which worked a treat in the great escape season, he appeared to have extremely limited skills as a football manager to me. It surprises me he still works in football

He's a lower league man. Played his football in the lower leagues and is now managing his 3rd lower league club.

40 and 50% win rates at Bury and Swindon aren't too bad, and he's still only 44, so still plenty of years ahead of him.

It really was. One of the best times I have had watching us.

When Hull turned up needing a draw or a win (I forget which) to confirm promotion, and we blew them away. Scenes.

    Yep amazing!

Plus the game away at Huddersfield was one of my favourite ever BFC games.
