Having watched last night's forecast I loaded up all my fishing gear, intending to go fishing today - couldn't get out of the street this morning. It's staying in the car for tomorrow.
That Lisa Gallagher, I'd like to put her over my knee! (p.s. there's no connection between the first and last sentence)

It took me 4 hours to get to work, with me arriving 2 and a half hours late. There weren’t many students there to see the outfit and probably only 1 in 5 members of staff dressed up - miserable buggers! Oh and I safely made it to work without peeing thanks to my teacher trained bladder. All’s well that ends well.

William Foggitt of Thirsk. He was never off Calendar in early days of YTV.

Please don't encourage Miss whatever her/his name was to post about teachers/students and toilet training habits again!

Ok, I give up. Who were you supposed to be? (I'm thinking you have to be a character from a kids book?)

Yep, character from a kid's book. I'll give you some clues... three books, made into films, dystopian world.

Yep, that's the series. Which character wears outrageous outifts? (This outfit is from Catching Fire).

Effie it is!! I like to make daft outfits :D Last year I was Wonder Woman and made my accessories and duct tape boots so this year I decided to go one bigger. It got slightly crumpled after 4 hours in a car though but kids don't care.

They're pretty impressive outfits JD although not as impressive as your bladder control.

Slightly regretting the bladder comments but it was all I could think about at the time(!) and then I couldn't very well give an update without it. Oh well.

I wouldn't be too regretful. Bladders will always be associated with another teacher* by posters on here.

Impressive stuff. And anything (or anyone) that helps to get kids into books gets the thumbs up from me. Bravo!
